Parts & Components Return Policy
The following is Vertical Express’s Process and Policy addressing the return of parts for reasons other than defective material or workmanship.
Process: Returns must be initiated by providing all of the following information to Vertical Express’s Parts & Components Department either by phone (866-448-3789) or by e-mail [email protected]:
- the reason for the return;
- the quantity and description of the part(s) to be returned; and
- the corresponding purchase order number.
Upon receipt of that information, Vertical Express will then create and provide you with a Return Good Requisition form (“RGR”) along with an address. All parts must be shipped, along with the RGR, to that address at your sole expense. We anticipate that our decision regarding credit for your claim will be made and credit applied within four (4) calendar weeks of receiving the part at the address listed above.
Policy: Vertical Express will issue you a credit to be applied to your account with Vertical Express, Inc. or back to your credit card in accordance with your original method of payment for the part in question in the following amounts and under the following circumstances:
- INCORRECT PART PROVIDED BY VERTICAL EXPRESS: We will issue a credit to you of 100% of your original purchase price and original shipping charges but only if all of the following criteria are met:

the part is returned to Vertical Express unopened and in its original packaging;

the part is accompanied by the appropriate RGR; AND
-
we determine, in our sole opinion, that Vertical Express shipped the incorrect part to you.

- ALL OTHER RETURNS: We will issue a credit to you of your original purchase price less a 15% restocking fee but only if all of the following criteria are met:
- the part is returned to Vertical Express unopened and in its original packaging;
- the part is accompanied by the appropriate RGR;
- we receive the return within 45 days of the date the part was originally shipped to you;
- the original sale price to you of the part in question exceeded $50; AND
- the returned part does not, in our sole opinion, qualify as an electronic component (i.e. electronic boards, starters, transformers, fuses, software, etc.).
